How It Works

Retro Car Hire/Booking Information

Planning your retro car hire experience with us is a breeze. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how it all works:

  • Get in Touch: Give us a call or send us an email to discuss your hire or bespoke requirements. We are here to assist you every step of the way.
  • Make a Booking: Once you are ready to reserve your desired retro car, we will take a deposit to secure your booking. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions for complete details.
  • Driver License Check: As part of the process, we will conduct a DVLA check on the driver’s licenses of all drivers involved in the hire.

On Day of Hire

  • Required Documentation: You must present your driving license along with two additional forms of identification.  One of these should be a utility bill or an official letter addressed to you at your current address. We will also need a contact telephone number to reach you during the day or evening.
  • Collect or Delivery: You have the option to either collect the car from us or choose our convenient delivery service.  Allow 30-40 minutes for car collection, ensuring ample time for any necessary instructions.
  • Holding Deposit: A “holding deposit” will be secured on your card for the duration of the hire. Rest assured, it will be released upon the satisfactory return of the vehicle.
  • Car Condition Form: We will fill out and sign a car condition form together, documenting the current state of the vehicle. This ensures transparency and mutual agreement on its condition.
  • Driving Lesson: We will provide you with a ‘driving lesson’, accompanying you in another vehicle. This ensures you feel confident and comfortable behind the wheel of your beautiful retro car.
  • Enjoy Your Day: Once you’ve familiarised yourself with the car and received any necessary instructions, it’s time to embark on your day of pure enjoyment with your chosen retro car.

At the end of your hire

  • Return Options: When your hire period comes to an end, simply drop the car back to us, or if more convenient, we can arrange for a pickup from your location.

  • Car Inspection: We will carefully inspect the car, referring back to the initial condition form. Both parties will sign the form, ensuring agreement on the condition of the vehicle upon return.

  • Release of Holding Deposit: Upon a satisfactory inspection, the holding deposit will be promptly released.
